You do not have to pay until the deadline of January 1st. The ads are sold on a first-come-first-basis and sell out very quickly.
What is a senior ad?
"Senior recognition ads, also known as yearbook ads or dedication ads, are paid tributes in a school yearbook that allow parents or loved ones to celebrate a graduating senior's accomplishments. These ads typically include photos of the student and a personalized message. They serve as a lasting memento of the student's high school journey."
